On the way in, and on the way out

Symphony No. 5 – 3rd movement, Tchaikovsky
Elgar’s 9th Enigma variation (Nimrod)

Update 17Aug2021

I’d like to thank fellow ?RandomRaider! Herb, who alerted me today to the fact that the second of the two videos I’d originally included here was ‘unavailable’. I tried to find out what it was; I knew it was a music piece, but I’d left myself no clues here at the time — a lesson I’ve since learned — but all I was able to discover was that this particular video (its ID is M_fIG7VJkQ0) is now ‘private’, with no clue who its owner is.

Fortunately, by digging through my 2012 email archive, I was able to determine that the music was Elgar’s ‘Nimrod’ — and I found a link my brother had provided to another video featuring that piece, so I’ve inserted that here. Here’s hoping this one lasts a little longer!

Very nicely done in the first video. The second one is broken.
