Don’t mind me, I’m just another human with an opinion. Since opinions are like assholes (everyone has one, and they all stink) [1] I quite understand if you wish to disagree with what I have to say. I just hope that you live in a society that allows you to express that disagreement…

I have a penchant for pendantry and a phondness of phlyarology. More can be gleaned from perusing this blog, should you wish to. It probably reveals more about me than I care to reveal, but c’est la vie. [2]

[1] I know it’s hackneyed, but I like it.

[2] *ahem* “La vie”… sorry. Old joke.

  4. Hello and thank you for visiting Dreamwalker’s Sanctuary, We all sure do have an opinion and I salute anyone who puts their own personal views forward, We are all of individuals whose voices count.. If we just went along with the Mass’s we would be nothing but bleating sheep.. and Im sure Im doing our fourlegged friends and injustice here also, as at times Im sure even our fourlegged friends have more courage than some who agree with the most popular just so they can be in the in-crowds…
I enjoyed my little visit and look around at your topics and Keep being bringing your own bright ideas forward… And promoting subjects that need our attention in the environment… For we are the ones who are here to change our world…

  5. Thanks for swinging by and for the “correction” and for the blog post likes 🙂 Cheers! and yes, my favorite saying “Opinions are like asshole and everyone has them, some smell worse than others” 🙂

Thanks for visiting my site and I’ve finally got around to stopping by yours. Just another asshole with an opinion about shit! After all – if you are Poop John the First of the Church of the Holy Shitters you have no choice but to give it the attention it deserves. Most of my opinions definitely stink!

Gratwise! Good luck with your new venture. I couldn’t find a ‘follow’ button/ link, so I guess I have to get off the pot, not do a number two.

      • John Crapper says:

I’m meeting with my web designer Friday. Just another question to put on my list. Going from wordpress.com to a hosted site has some challenges.

        • pendantry says:

I’m intrigued a) why you feel the need to move from WordPress and b) why your site says at the foot ‘Holy Shitters is proudly powered by WordPress.org’ if you’ve, um, moved from WordPress. Questions, questions, never enough answers…

          • John Crapper says:

There is a difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org My web designer said that for my needs I would be better off going with an outside hosting service that interfaces with wordpress. I’ll learn more about this on Friday. Right now it’s all kind of confusing to me. I’m still with wordpress. My dashboard looks the same as before. I’m just paying to have my site hosted by an outside service. It apparently gives me more options and design choices. My learning curve with this stuff is pretty steep and keeps getting steeper. Or I’m just getting into the Crap deeper.

            Well, I hope it’s a journey that you’ll enjoy 🙂

Did you find a solution to your problem: http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/when-a-comment-thread-reaches-the-last-tier-no-reply-link-is-provided?replies=29 ? Seems you didn’t… well… I am looking for the same thing.

  8. Hi there- seem to be crossing paths on other blogs- the ‘steady state economy’ has grabbed my interest, can you suggest some primer reading? And would you be up for a UK based collaboration into future UK options? My interest is as much what the plebs do [I use the word in the context of the decline of Rome- bread and circuses]. oh and I hope you are well- weather related issues with me- 1000s of blue berries delivered and I cant get down the snow laden track to the smallholding [north facing] I want the spring!

  9. Subhan Zein says:

Hello, my friend pendantry, you have a nice blog up here. Well done! 🙂 Keep writing and sharing your ideas to the world, my friend, you will do wonders. 🙂

Ack! Have you got some sort of email address to which I can send profuse apologies for completely ignoring my thatsajennstory emails for about a week, which meant that I missed all your phlyarology communiques? Also–couldn’t get to “user roles” nor could I comment on “about.”

  11. leavergirl says:

Thank you very much for the Occupy Love, Wibbler. I just finished watching it. I found it alas very depressing and pathetic. Still though, your gift is what made it worth it. Thank you again. 🙂

    • pendantry says:

You are the second person to thank me with reservations. I’m sorry to have subjected you to depressive material 😦 I’m clutching at straws, myself.

      • leavergirl says:

Sigh. We really have to go out and enjoy the spring! — Here I go, getting my duff off this chair.

      • ccgwebmaster says:

I wanted to say thanks for it too (I finally got around to watching it). I didn’t find it particularly depressing but perhaps that’s because I have a rather low opinion of people and where we’re headed (it’s hard to think what could lower my opinion much more at this point). It seems like a nice idea, if it were fleshed out a bit and implemented – but I very much doubt it is the future that we will come to…

  12. Ganesh says:

Nice and interesting blog, dear friend! Thanks for following “Known is a drop, Unknown is an Ocean“. 🙂

    • pendantry says:

Thanks for dropping by! Glad you like what you see, hope to ‘see’ you again. PS I added a link to your blog into your comment — I hope you don’t object.

  13. Dan Hoger says:

You pointed out a typo for me and now I’m returning the favor. Your second footnote is listed as “1” when it should be listed as “2”. Cheers!

  14. Hello. I discovered your blog while reading another tonight; I thought one of your comments was quite well expressed, so I came over to see what your blog is about (and I’m glad that I did). I like the “pendantry” coinage (I have a habit of playing with words as well). It’s also really nice to see others fighting the inane forces of AGW denialism, as I feel my family and I try to do through our actions, our example, and our words.

  15. Mr. P., can you send me an email? To my full name at gmail.

  16. Belay that last request! I have it!

  17. Dan Hoger says:

I don’t know what the Liebster Award is, but someone cursed me with it and demanded that I spread it like a virus.
Your award, if you choose to accept it, is to follow the instructions here: http://missingthemuse.com/2014/12/25/wtf-is-the-liebster-award/

I am sorry if I overlooked anything stating that you decline awards and I will not be offended if you don’t accept it.

    • Dan Hoger says:

      *to follow

I hate that we can’t edit or delete our comments.

      • pendantry says:

I think the excuse is probably that it’s to keep us on our toes. I fixed “the follow” to “to follow” for you. Oh, and I also added the word ‘is’ after “Liebster Award” for you. Having done all that, next time I’m ego-surfing down this page I may delete these two comments, seeing as they’re now both redundant. Then again, I may not… (oh, the excitement, I’m not sure I can bear it).

    • pendantry says:

I don’t think I’ve mentioned it specifically anywhere (you mean you haven’t read every last thing on my entire blog? I’m shocked!) but I don’t do these ‘award’ thingies. They’re too reminiscent of chain letters from my youth, even though they don’t threaten me with some dreaded lurgy for ‘breaking the chain’. But thank you anyway! 🙂

  18. Good to know all is well with you…………Hope you soon find the heart to post my friend.. We are all of us threads that weave our positive lights within the web.. Love and Blessings.. Sue Hope to see a thread emerge very soon.. xx ❤

  19. Mr. P., sorry my aged brain holding me back! I know that I have your email address but cannot remember you real name – hence can’t look up your email address! Want to write to you directly following your feedback re buying my book from my blogsite. Sorry to be a pain!

    • pendantry says:

Not a problem, Paul. The wonders of modern technology, eh? I’ll drop you a quick email, but admit to being a little puzzled: if I go to the WordPress ‘Comments’ section, I can see your email address under your name, beside your comments. I hate to assume that you should be able to do the same for me at your end, because although I know you too are using WordPress.com, perhaps your setup is different from mine. (WYSINWOG — an acronym I believe I coined many moons ago, but one about which I’ve no doubt many others will believe the same!)

      • No, I can’t find your name or email address anywhere on your blogsite! (Delighted we are now in email contact.)

        • pendantry says:

I was referring to the comment moderation facility on your website, not mine (have a look in your WordPress ‘Dashboard’ — assuming you have one). My email address is deliberately nowhere on this site here; old habit, an attempt to minimise the spam 🙂

  20. Hi, you can delete this post and email me

[snip] (you never know who might be listening 😉 )

  21. KJ Smith says:

Pedantry – I love it! And I have thoroughly enjoyed reading through some of your posts. Such talent! Even your responses to readers’ comments show your skill and creativity. Thank you for stopping by my site and for following. I will most definitely reciprocate. I look forward to reading more of your posts and your comments! 🙂

    • pendantry says:

Thank you very much for your visit, KJ, and for your kind and encouraging words. I’m glad you look forward to reading more from me — and I look forward to reading more from you!
