For Minouche

Kitten
:
Little furball

Skittering underfoot

Teasing yourself into my heart

Sharing

A feline lifetime of friendship

Years of frolicking fun

All too soon gone
:
Farewell

Minouche

Goodbye, old friend

Thanks, Wendy. I guess Tillwe must be long gone by now, hope she didn’t suffer at the end. Minouche had feline HIV, can’t believe how fast he wasted away at the end :( Oh well, c’est la vie.

This form is perfect for your poem. I love that name for a cat. I think Julia Child had a cat by that name.

  6. So sorry for your loss. Truly sad to lose a lifetime best friend. Surely, you will have many happy memories of your time together to soften the blow. No matter how much time we share with them, it’s always too short. She looks like a gem. Wishing you well.

Nice obit for kit. Tough, isn’t it? Our pets are family members.

  8. Cats are not meant to be pets. How can you spend so many years with them and then survive without them?
