The Upside Of War

Arran Lomas may look young. His moustache may be an affectation he could do without. But his message is a good one; don’t knock it. (Oh, and Susi’s poem is a pretty good one, too!)

I Write Her

Inspired by Reena’s Exploration Challenge #128

every negative situation
has the power
to become a positive force
for cultural shift

lives are lost
but lives will be saved
in the future
from what we learn

life’s path
takes a different turn
our day to day changes
becoming a new reality

gleening a possibility
of hope in this evil’s demise
in the following days
it begins during these troubled times

  1. This is a nice idea but I don’t think it will happen. We only need to look at Global Warming – we know what causes it but people still happily extract fossil fuels, because they make lots of money from it. They worship money and to suddenly expect them to become altruistic is, I think, too much to hope for.
