The scientists are wrong

I think that the above is a pretty good indication that now is the perfect time to declare A Large Crisis.

In fact, if you’ve got a moment, it’s a twelve-storey crisis with a magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, twenty-four-hour porterage, and an enormous sign on the roof saying ‘This Is a Large Crisis’.

  1. Wow, that is an amazing clip from RT. If the rest of the media could take this as seriously, we might actually get somewhere.

  3. Hartman’s comments were superb and scary. He is so intelligent and articulate. I love the 2nd clip too. Gotta work on reducing those short-term climate forcers like methane and black soot but the most important job is to somehow get more people concerned and involved. I like your injection of humor.

Could you expand on this? I’m not clear on what you’re saying. Who’s ‘we’, for instance? I’m thinking: humanity* is most decidedly dithering, when it comes to addressing anthropogenic climate change…

Wishing you, too, a good weekend 🙂

      * I don’t use the term ‘mankind’ on the grounds that ‘man’ is far from ‘kind’ 😦

      • I mean you and I as in ‘We’ and most of our readers are at least trying all be it in small ways to help conserve our environment. We speak mainly to the enlightened on the subject. But how do we get the big boys in business to change and joe-blogs down the street. How would you help them understand that by our habits of buying goods we don’t really need covered in plastic packaging is All helping create the figures stated above?
And yes I agree the ‘Kind’ has long since gone from many of our species.
        Enjoy you day my friend

OK, I’m with you now. As with so many things I feel it has to begin with education, and especially dispelling the myths and misinformation that feature so prominently in this topic. One of my attempts in this vein is the petition I set up a couple of days ago (see link in my response to ‘Wottsup…’ above). I see it already has a massive ten signatories! Amazing…
