Murder one?
Slung inside.
Poison hundreds?
Slaughter thousands?
National pride.

Personal bankrupt?
Gee, that’s tough.
Enterprise dies?
Not good enough.
Massive layoffs?
Feed at the trough.

    Disagree about the layoffs. They usually go along with record gains for the companies, and enormous bonuses for the CEO’s…

      I agree with what you say entirely — if an organisation that’s too big to fail gets into trouble (and so has to cast off — often loyal! — staff) then the organisation feeds at the trough of the public purse.

      But you say you disagree. I’m puzzled. Where have I gone wrong?
